Enjoy a leisurely walk up to the active volcano for a spectacular view of the submerged caldera, the depression created by a massive volcanic eruption in 1650 B.C. The cruise continues to the island of Palea Kameni (Old Burnt Island), where you will have the opportunity to swim in the warm spring waters of the bay. After a refreshing dip, the tour continues to the island of Therasia, where you may choose to ride a mule to the charming village of Manolas. Still searching for that sophisticated blend of island life, food, culture and ancient Greece? Then look no further, because today is the day for the civilized queen in all of us! During your tour, be sure to notice the church's four distinct architectural styles and unique asymmetrical facade, for it is one of the most photographed sites on the island. Drive by Ornos beach, Saint Stefano beach and Tourlos Harbor, continuing to the beaches of Kalafatis and Santa Anna, where you will visit the quaint village of Ano Mera. Made famous by its 16th-century Panagia Tourliani Monastery and its typical square with Greek tavernas and pastry shops, Ano Mera is a dazzling little village with a peaceful atmosphere and many unspoiled sites. In the late afternoon, return to Mykonos, and meet the chef for a private cooking class, where you will learn the savory secrets of Grecian cuisine.
